Piramal Foundation

Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership (PFEL) was established with an aim to improve student learning outcomes in public schools across India. PFEL has signed long term MoUs with 12 state governments across India to improve the learning outcomes and quality of education for 57 million students by working on the leadership development of 40,800+ education officials in the states through programs at different levels of the value chain.

PFEL has partnered with national and global experts like Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Genpact, New York University, Harvard Graduate school of education, etc. to build innovative solutions and tools which enable improvement of skills and leadership of officials and teachers across these states.

Piramal Foundation will support the administration of the 25 districts through multiple channels of intervention to change behavior of individuals within Health and Education departments. These interventions will be customized based on need of districts, which will help in improving the identified indicators.
